Asus has just introduced the 7-inch Memo Pad in Singapore. The affordable tablet will compete with Acer's Iconia B1 slate, which made its debut in the country a few weeks ago.

According to AndroidOS, customers in Singapore can now purchase the Memo Pad for only $200/€150. The slate is available in Sugar White, Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink color options.

Those unfamiliar with the tablet's specs sheet should know that Asus Memo Pad is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and packs a 1GHz single-core processor.

The slate also features 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Memo Pad drains energy from a high-capacity 4270 mAh Li-Ion battery and the 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution.
