The small update is likely to address one or more minor issues

We reported exactly two weeks ago that Rovio released a major update for Angry Birds Star Wars II on all mobile platforms. Dubbed the Carbonite Pack, the update included 8 new playable characters that could be unlocked by players or tried out for a limited time.

Today, the game has received another update, but this time, it does not include any new features. In fact it's hard to say what exactly has been changed, as Rovio has yet to release an official changelog.

Aside from bumping the game to version 1.3.1, we suspect that the small update might address one or more issues brought in by the previous major update. However, we can't confirm it, so take it with a grain of salt.

You can now download Angry Birds Star Wars II for Android 1.3.1 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.
