The update is expected to hit Android Marketplace on January 20

The highly-acclaimed, multi-awarded “Angry Birds Seasons” is about to receive another update, this time dedicated to the Chinese New Year.

 

Dubbed “Year of the Dragon,” the upcoming update should arrive on Android phones on January 20, three days earlier than Chinese New Year celebration which is set to kick off on January 23.

 

Rovio, the team behind the popular title game is already teasing its fans with an “Angry Birds Seasons – Year of the Dragon” trailer, but no other details have been disclosed yet.

 

It is also worth mentioning that Rovio plans to push the update on all mobile platforms, including Android, iOS and BlackBerry PlayBook.

No word on the Chrome browser update yet, but there’s a high chance that Rovio will release a similar update for the browser as well.
