Angry Birds Go! addicts rejoice, as Rovio has just released another update for the Android smash hit, which has been teased for the last couple of days.

Windows Phone players have been skipped from the initial rollout of this update once again, but we are confident that Rovio will eventually launch update 1.2.0 on Microsoft’s mobile platform as well.

Update 1.2.0 for Angry Birds Go! is all about new content. According to the official changelog, there are no under the hood improvements or bug fixes included.

Still, Angry Birds Go! players will be pleased to know that the update contains in a brand new Sub Zero episode, which has a new snowy theme in the form of a new winter track, new karts and Telepods.

Rovio has confirmed that it has introduced no less than 8 new karts that were built by the Mechanic Pig. No details have been offered on the new Telepod toys though.

Last but not least, developers have announced that there will be new rewards waiting for the most skilled Angry Birds Go! players. Each day you come back for unique time-limited events, the rewards will be increasingly higher.

You can now download Angry Birds Go! for Android 1.2.0 for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.
