The new build will make it out in no time

Chinese company OnePlus has released the Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM in alpha version for their flagship device last month.

Well, it appears the device maker is getting closer and closer to a final release. After seeing today a few leaked screenshots showcasing the company’s upcoming custom ROM, Oxygen OS, OnePlus has posted a teaser showing Lollipop in all its splendor on the OnePlus One handset.

It’s a 24-second video so don’t expect it to be extremely detailed. But you can spot the obvious, Android 5.0 is running on the company’s flagship and there’s even a funky Android Flappy Bird Easter egg to make everything even more sugary.

The software shown in the video seems pretty stock, which is what users installing the alpha ROM said a while ago. So OnePlus appears to be planning to keep Lollipop very clean and free of any possible bloatware.

The screenshots of OxygenOS also showed an extremely neat interface, so maybe OnePlus is aiming for less clutter.

Anyway, we’ll probably know when to expect the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the OnePlus One on February 12, when the Chinese device maker is scheduled to officially unleash OxyenOS into the wild. Keep your fingers crossed so that the new build comes soon.
