Are you the owner of a first-generation Moto E and your country of residence is India? Then we have good news for you.

Your favorite company is sending out invitations for a soak test which has Android 5.0.2 at its center. As STJS Gadgets reports, all you need to do to be included in the operation is volunteer to help out with the testing.

However, you’ll need to be a Motorola Feedback Network member. In addition, you’ll be expected to keep everything confidential until Motorola gives off the green light.

Soak tests allow the manufacturer to play it safe and deal with issues in their nascent form. A while ago we told you that a recent Motorola Lollipop test in Canada proved to have disastrous consequences, as the update bricked numerous devices and the company was forced to admit fault and replaced the faulty handsets.

Hopefully the Indian soak test for the Moto E will run smoothly and the final version will be released soon.

It will probably run for about 2 weeks or so and if no problems are reported, Motorola will gradually start the rolling out.

In related news, the next-gen Motorola Moto E was reportedly spotted online in a leaked image with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Will we see it soon?
