Good news for Samsung Galaxy S4 owners who purchased their smartphones via Sprint, as the carrier plans on dropping the Android 4.4 KitKat update on February 13.

AndroidCentral reports that an internal document that has just been leaked online confirms that Sprint should kick off the rollout of the update later today, if nothing goes wrong.

Aside from the usual improvements and new features of the Android 4.4 KitKat, this update seems to also enable support for Sprint MVNO Zact Mobile.

According to Sprint, the upgrade will be available to Galaxy S4 owners in stages, which means that they will have to wait until they are notified of the update in order to install it.

Obviously, you can also try to manually check for it by going to Settings / More / About device / Software update / Update.
