Google has already officially confirmed the upcoming availability of a new flavor of its Android operating system, namely Android 4.4 Kit Kat, though it has yet to provide details on the platform’s release date.

In fact, the company did not offer too much info on what the new OS iteration should bring along, nor on the stage of the development process.

Even so, it is known that Google is working hard on the building of Android 4.4, and info that emerged over at the Chromium bug tracker confirms that, as droid-life notes.

A certain build number KRS74D has been mentioned there, which might have been signed off on September 12, myce explains.

No specific info on what it includes has been provided but, with Android 4.4 expected to become official next month, more such builds are expected to emerge in the not too distant future.
