The update is now pushed OTA (over the air), in stages

Motorola Canada has just announced that the highly anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Moto G is now available in Canada. The update has been initially rolled out in the UK and is now being deployed in Europe.

According to Motorola, the upgrade is now available for Moto G devices at TELUS, Koodo and PC Mobile. Those who have purchased the smartphone through one of these carriers may want to check for the update’s availability by going to Settings / About phone / System updates / Download.

The latest version of Android brings many improvements and new features, including new full-screen mode, color emoji support, much better security and enhanced closed captioning support.
