We reported over the weekend on Bell’s statement regarding the upcoming release of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and now we have confirmation that the carrier has kept its promise.

Bell has previously stated that Android 4.4.2 KitKat for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be available for download by Monday, March 17.

We have also speculated that Rogers might release the update around the same time, given the carrier’s recent history on the KitKat update for Galaxy S4.

Well, according to MobileSyrup, it looks like both Bell and Rogers have started seeding the highly anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

In addition, TELUS and WIND Mobile have kicked off the rollout of the update as well, so customers who have purchased their Galaxy Note 3 through one of these two carriers can upgrade their devices.

It appears that the update is about 437MB in size, so we recommend Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners to download it via Wi-Fi rather than using the operator’s network.

Those who have yet to be notified of Android 4.4.2 KitKat can manually check for it by going to Settings / About Phone / Software update. If it doesn’t show on your Galaxy Note 3, you should try again later, as this is probably a staged rollout.
