It looks like the next US-based carrier to receive the highly-anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Motorola Moto X is US Cellular.

Even though we reported about T-Mobile’s KitKat soak test for the Moto X a few days ago, the Magenta carrier won’t be the next to receive the update.

Droid-life reports sources close to the matter claim the US Cellular Moto X (XT1055) should receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update beginning today. The full deployment of the update should happen by February 12.

According to Motorola, once the upgrade is successfully completed, Moto X users will notice major improvements to the camera, support for Google Print services, as well as general Google enhancements / improvements.

Those who have yet to be notified on the update should manually check for it by going to Settings / About phone / Software updates / Update.
