Samsung is one of the few major handset makers that have yet to announce their Android 4.4 KitKat update scheduler. The South Korean company has not even confirmed which smartphones and tablets will receive the upgrade, but we expect the first official piece of news to show up within the next couple of days.

Thus, the folks over at SamMobile seem to have inside information on the subject and have teased the Android 4.4.2 KitKat logo along with the tag line “nextupdate.”

Given that the information comes from a website that mostly leaks Samsung stuff, we can safely assume that the upcoming info will be related to Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for one or more Galaxy smartphones.

We suspect that the Galaxy S4 will be among the first smartphones to receive the highly anticipated upgrade, along with the Galaxy Note 3, but other devices may be confirmed as well. Stay tuned for more info on this one.

[UPDATE]: As expected, SamMobile has just leaked the first Android 4.4.2 KitKat test firmware for Samsung Galaxy S4. More details are available here.
