Owners of HTC One Google Play Edition devices should soon begin to receive a new software update on their smartphones, the latest reports on the matter claim.
Apparently, HTC and Google will soon have the smartphone updated to Android 4.4.1, at least this is what a tweet from infamous leaker LlabTooFeR reads.
The new firmware is said to hit smartphones as software update KOT49E, though no specific info on when it will start rolling out has been unveiled.
For those out of the loop, we should note that the Android 4.4 KitKat update has started to arrive on HTC One Google Play Edition devices only last week.
No details on what the new firmware might include have been provided, but we assume that it features bug fixes and other enhancements. Stay tuned for additional info on the matter.
