Samsung kicked off the rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S4 last week, but only a few countries got it in the initial wave.

Today, SamMobile reports that the long-awaited upgrade is now available in India for Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) devices. The non-LTE version of Galaxy S4 is eligible for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, which comes both OTA (over the air) and via Samsung Kies desktop software.

Keep in mind that your smartphone needs at least 50% of battery charged and a stable Wi-Fi network connection. If you plan on upgrading via Samsung Kies, it will take around 60 minutes, so make sure you have enough time before attempting to update.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S4 brings lots of improvements and new features, including enhanced TouchWiz launcher, Samsung KNOX, new Reading Mode, Samsung browser and more.

[Update] Good news for Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) owners in Indonesia and Vietnam as Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade is now available in both countries.
