As expected, Samsung has just kicked off the rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S III in Canada. Last week, the South Korean company promised that it would bring support for Galaxy Gear smartwatch to more Galaxy devices from November 29.

However, for some reason the update was pushed a few days earlier. MobileSyrup confirms Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is now available in Canada for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S III.

Keep in mind that the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so not all Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S III owners will receive it at the same time.

The upgrade is also available via Samsung Kies desktop software, so those who don’t wish to rely on a Wi-Fi network can update their devices using this method.

Aside from support for Galaxy Gear and KNOX, Android 4.3 brings lots of SPen improvements, UI and security enhancements, as well as better performance.
