It looks like HTC did not forget its fans who use older but more than decent smartphones launched in the US and is preparing another batch of updates that will bring some of the newest features of the Android platform.

According to HTC leaker LlabTooFeR, Sprint’s EVO 4G LTE smartphone will soon receive the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, which will also contain the HTC Sense 5.0 UI.

The information was confirmed last month by Jason Mackenzie, head of HTC USA, who said that the EVO 4G LTE would receive an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade by the end of 2013.

No additional details on when exactly the update will be released have been offered, but we will keep an eye out for more info, so stay tuned.

In the same piece of news, HTC is expected to reveal its Android 4.4 KitKat update schedule in the coming days, which might include the HTC EVO 4G LTE as well.
