One of the novelties that Google has long been rumored to plan on unveiling today at its Google I/O conference is a new flavor of the Android operating system, and confirmation on the matter appears to have emerged, via Google’s own developer website.

The new platform release, supposedly dubbed Android 4.3 (still Jelly Bean), has just been spotted on the aforementioned website, only hours before its possible official launch.

The mention of Android 4/3 has been already removed from the portal, but The Verge notes that Google is almost certain to plan on unveiling it today at the aforementioned conference.

No specific info on what the platform would have to offer has emerged so far, but rumor has it that it would be set to bring support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the OpenGL for Embedded Systems 3.0 graphics specification.
