The update is not deployed OTA (over the air) and requires manual sideload

HTC EVO 4G LTE owners rejoice, as the Taiwanese handset maker has kept its promise and has finally released the long-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

However, as we reported a couple of days ago, “given the memory partition size limit,” this is not an OTA (over the air) rollout, so HTC EVO 4G LTE owners will have to manually upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

HTC USA VO Martin Fichter has recently confirmed that the Android 4.3 featuring HTC Sense 5 is now available for Sprint EVO 4G LTE. The new ROM has more than 800MB in size, so make sure your Internet connection is stable.

According to Fichter, the update will erase all your data, so we recommend HTC EVO 4G LTE owners to make a backup before sideloading this ROM. More details and a download link are provided in Fichter's tweet.
