The previous build failed to be approved by some carriers

Sony has just received certification for another Android 4.3 Jelly Bean build for the Xperia V and Xperia T smartphones. This doesn’t looks so good for the Japanese company, as Sony has previously released numerous Jelly Bean builds for these handsets, but none of them made it to the general public.

We have reported earlier today that at least one carrier’s (Vodafone Australia) test of a previous Android 4.3 Jelly Bean build for Xperia T was unsuccessful.

Today, XperiaBlog spotted another new firmware version for Xperia T and Xperia V, which has been certified at PTCRB. Firmware version 9.2.A.0.295 is just a minor update from the previous 9.2.A.0.290, which might indicate that Sony only had to fix some minor bugs.

If the new build passes carriers’ tests, we might see the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update rolling out in the next couple of weeks.
