Owners of Samsung’s Galaxy S III smartphone might not have too long to wait until the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS upgrade is delivered to them, as a test build has already emerged online.

Firmware I9300XXUFME7 has made an appearance over at SamMobile, showing some of the features that will be included inside the final build, though not all of them, it seems.

At the moment, Android 4.2.2 for the smartphone is said to be in testing phase, though it might arrive on devices sometime in July or August, apparently.

When launched, it will bring the Galaxy S4 lockscreen, along with new Screen modes, Daydream, actionable notifications, changes to the notifications center, a new Settings UI, Voice controls, S-Voice, a new Smart Switch widget, and more.

Users can have a look at the firmware in the video embedded above. Given that it is a pre-release firmware, users should refrain from downloading and installing it.
