South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has started the delivery of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for its Galaxy S III quite a while ago, but it seems that it is finally getting closer to wrapping it up.

Roughly a dozen countries should still receive the update, a recent post on SamMobile notes, adding that all those who purchased the device are expected to get a taste of the new software sooner rather than later.

Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean landed on Galaxy S III with a nice range of enhancements packed inside, including the Multi-View feature that was initially made available only for Galaxy Note II.

The new firmware version arrives on smartphones as build JZO54K with features such as Page Buddy, new Gallery App, customizable Notification Panel, Smart Rotation, continuous input in Samsung Keyboard, Paper Artist App and Group Cast App.
