Owners of a Motorola XOOM WiFi tablet PC can now download and install the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system on their devices.

Motorola has conducted a soak test for the tablet PC over the weekend, and it seems that things went according to plan and that it has decided the push the new update to all users.

Those who would like to grab the update can head over to Settings > About Tablet > System Updates and check whether Android 4.1.2 has been released for their unit as well.

Optionally, they can head over to Google’s servers and manually download and install the operating system flavor. For that, they can use either stock or third-party recovery, Android Community notes.

While no changelog is available for the update, we can expect it to include all the enhancements that arrived on Nexus 7 (though not all of them were pushed to Nexus smartphones).
