Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile is getting ready for the release of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for more of its devices, and it has already had the software certified for three of them.

Featuring software version 9.1.C.0.464, Android 4.1.2 received PTCRB certification for Xperia AX (SO-01E), Xperia GX (SO-04D), and Xperia SX (SO-05D) on the network of Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo, and is expected to be deployed in the near future, a post on XperiaBlog notes.

The news site also notes that the 9.1.X.X.XXX build arrived on Xperia handsets in other markets around the world as the jelly Bean upgrade, and the same should happen in Japan too, although no official info on the matter has been provided as of now.

Details on when the software will be released haven’t been delivered either, but they should be provided soon, so stay tuned.
