Owners of an HTC One XL smartphone on the network of wireless carrier Vodafone in Germany can now download and install the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system update on their devices, HTC officially announced on Facebook today.

The new platform release brings along not only the full set of enhancements that Jelly Bean has been unveiled with, but also a series of other improvements, including HTC Sense 4+, a recent article on htcinside.de claims.

Following the update, users will enjoy an updated UI on their smartphones, along with a series of camera improvements, Google Now, improved performance, and the like.

The update is said to arrive on devices as software number 3.17.162.7, and weighs 654.23 MB in size, which means that users will need to download it via a Wi-Fi connection.
