As expected, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Verizon Galaxy Nexus is now rolling out OTA (over the air).

Software update IMM76K is likely to be pushed in stages, so some Galaxy Nexus owners might have to wait a bit until it becomes available.

Android 4.0.4 ICS for Verizon Galaxy Nexus leaked twice this month, but the carrier took its time to test and approve the update.

The official changelog confirms Android 4.0 ICS fixes lots of issues, including the ability to properly display email messages when the text size is set to large, as well as the option to view full notes associated with an appointment or Calendar reminder.

As soon as the update is applied, Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners will be able to successfully turn on Wi-Fi using the Power Control widget. For other details on Android 4.0.4’s changes, check out the official changelog.
