It looks like T-Mobile customers who own the Samsung Exhibit II 4G are in for a nice surprise, as the carrier is now rolling out a new software update that brings some bug fixes and improvements.

The update is about 33MB in size and is now pushed OTA (over the air), but it’s also available via the Samsung Kies desktop software. T-Mobile USA confirmed the update would continue until June 15.

Aside from bringing the Android OS to version 2.3.6, the update is meant to re-brand the smartphone to Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G.

It is also worth mentioning the update adds a Google Security fix, as well as some device stability and Wi-Fi calling audio improvements.

Other enhancements have been added to camera app and Swype corporate email.
