There’s a lot of talk around Android’s security level and looks are not looking so good for users, if we are to take into consideration the latest statements coming from security experts.

As you can never be sure that your Android device is secure enough, here is a useful application that will allow you to analyze your Android apps’ the level of security.

Dubbed CheckMyApps, the application has been developed by Pradeo Security Systems and is capable of auditing the security level of all the Android application installed on a smartphone and/or tablet.

Simply choose to launch the analysis after CheckMyApps is installed on the Android devices, and you should receive the security level in terms of privacy in about 1 minute.

The results include reports on “malicious connections, unsecured connections, data theft and handling, financial losses (if the app makes your device send premium-rate SMS/calls without your agreement), as well as the security of the device (if the apps includes rootkits or viruses for instance).”

CheckMyApps 1.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
