Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers has long announced plans to make the Amber Gold flavor of the HTC One M8 smartphone available for its users, but the company hasn’t made a move on the matter until today, it seems.

Originally announced for the operator’s network about two months ago, the Amber Gold HTC One M8 smartphone is now available for purchase at Rogers with a price tag of $179.99 attached to it on select two-year contracts.

Users will also be able to purchase the new mobile phone for $699 on a month-to-month basis and will enjoy the same hardware capabilities and features that the previously released variants had to offer.

This includes a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, along with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM. Moreover, the handset was announced with 32GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot that supports up to 128GB of additional storage space.

The smartphone comes with a duo UltraPixel camera setup on the back, as well as with a 5MP front camera, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and a battery that can deliver up to 21 hours of talk time.

HTC One M8 runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box, with HTC’s own Sense 6.0 user interface loaded on top. It can be seen listed on this page on the wireless carrier’s website.
