Nokia EOS, the long-rumored 41MP Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Nokia, appears to be nearing its official unveiling, and allegedly leaked photos with the device are now available for your viewing pleasure.

Running under Microsoft’s mobile operating system, the smartphone is said to be en route to the market with a 41-megapixel PureView photo snapper, the same as the Nokia 808 PureView last year.

Furthermore, the handset is rumored to feature the hardware specs similar to the Nokia Lumia 920, though in a slimmer casing, despite the larger camera on the back. As PhoneArena notes, it might be announced on July 9.

No official info on the device has been provided as of now, and the said photos that emerged over at Dospy.com are rather blurry, so we’ll take the info with a big grain of salt, since they might prove fake. Stay tuned for more on this.
