Alcatel has been long expected to bring to the market a device running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system, and it seems that the company is finally ready to make the move.
The handset, called Alcatel One Touch, will land on shelves in Russia tomorrow, it seems, with the Windows Phone 7.8 operating system loaded on it.
It features a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display, along with a 1 GHz processor inside, 512MB of RAM, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper.
Furthermore, the device will pack 4GB of internal memory, without the possibility to expand it, and is expected to feature a price tag of 6,990 rubles (around $230 / €175).
Alcatel has already published a video commercial for the new mobile phone, and you can have a look at it above. Unfortunately, the video focuses on features that are available on other Windows Phone devices as well.
