14 DAY TRIAL // Alcatel and OANDA Corporation, a company focused on mobile software development, have just announced they have teamed up to offer Alcatel fans the latter’s currency convertor Android application.
The handset manufacturer confirmed plans to pre-load the application on all its Android smartphones. However, the application will be co-branded, as part of the agreement.
Alcatel aims to offer its customers a full suite of productivity applications pre-loaded on their smartphones, and this partnership is the first from a longer series, hopefully.
OANDA’s Currency Conversion application is also available as a free download from Android Market and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
According to the developers, the currency convertor application is available for additional major mobile platforms, including iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7, Symbian and Java.
