If you’re the owner of an Android phone, but have been mulling over the renowned iPhone camera app called Camu, we have good news for you.

Camu is now available for download from the Google Play store with the promise of allowing you to “take perfect photos and videos” while having a simple and intuitive interface to work with.

The app allows you to use it to take photos, instead of your mobile phone’s default camera. Right off the bat, you’ll be able to apply your filter of choice, even before you have actually taken the picture per se.

Clarity can be adjusted by sliding up or down. Camu also has a selfie helping feature which detects the absence of movement. It’s the camera’s way of inferring you are posing for the perfect selfie.

The app is also outfitted with different editing tools. It lets you create your own collages of pictures you already have or you’re about to take. You can also add text on top of your images.

But be warned that to unlock certain features, like (some) filters, you’ll have to pay a buck or two. However, Camu is free for download so go ahead and try it now.
