Chinese handset maker Huawei is one of the few who launched Windows Phone devices in the past, and it looks willing to continue to release this type of smartphones.

Dutch blog GSMInfo reports that the affordable Huawei Ascend W2 will be released in the Netherlands soon. Although there are no details on the smartphone’s price tag, judging by its specs sheet, it can't cost more than €200 ($270) outright.

The Ascend W2 has yet to make its entrance on the market, but the cited source claims the Netherlands will be the first country to receive the Windows Phone 8 handset.

Specs-wise, Huawei Ascend W2 is far from being impressive. The smartphone is said to sport a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash.

The device will also pack a more than decent 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
