The smartphone is now available for as low as $15/€11

The cheapest Windows Phone 8 handset launched by HTC, the 8S has finally arrived at Canadian carrier Videotron.

The good news is the smartphone is available for as low as $15/€11 on “reduced price.” The bad news is customers who wish to get it on prepaid will have to come up with no less than $350//€260 upfront. Check it out here.

The 8S is Nokia Lumia 620’s direct competitor. The smartphone comes equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Moreover, HTC Windows Phone 8S sports a 4-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper. The complete specs sheet of HTC 8S is available here.
