Indian handset maker Videocon Mobile is not a new entrant on the smartphone market, but the company did not launch an Android device for quite some time now.

We reported more than a month ago Videocon plans to release two affordable dual-SIM Android phones, the A20 and A30.

Both have been listed as “Coming Soon” at various authorized retailers, though no details on the exact launch date was disclosed at that time.

With less than a week left until the end of the year, AndroidOS reports that Videocon A20 and A30 are now available for purchase in India for Rs 4,999 ($90/€70) and Rs 7,299 ($130/€100), respectively.

Aside from dual-SIM capability, the A20 sports a 3.5-inch display, 1GHz single-core CPU, 3-megapixels rear camera for VGA front-facing camera. The smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform.

Videocon A30 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and features a larger 4.0-inch WVGA display, microSD card slot, 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, as well as dual cameras (5MP rear camera and VGA front-facing camera).
