The smartphone is available for only Rs 12,490 ($225/€175) off contract

Indian company iBall has just launched a new affordable Android smartphone, the Andi 4.5H. The smartphone will soon go on sale at major retailers across the country for only Rs 12,490 off contract ($225/€175).

AndroidOS reports the Andi 4.5H ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1 GHz.

Furthermore, the smartphone offers dual-SIM capability, as well as 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

As the name suggests, the device sports a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display. In addition, Andi 4.5H boasts an 8-megapixel rear photo snapper, along with a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

Other highlights of the smartphone include 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth support, built-in GPS receiver and 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery.
