Computer maker Acer is expected to bring to the market in the not too distant future new smartphones running under Google’s Android operating system, and a leaked Liquid S2 might be one of these handsets, it seems.

Rumored to sport the codename of Hemingway, the smartphone should land on the market as a high-end device, packing a 5.98-inch 1080p IPS display, and a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, which should prove to be a Snapdragon 800 chipset.

Furthermore, the mobile phone is said to feature 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory, as well as support for NFC and LTE connectivity.

Info that emerged over at computerbase.de (via techkiddy), also shows that Acer Liquid S2 might be powered by Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, and that it should sport a price tag of €600 (around $800). Rumor has it that Acer is set to make the phone official in August.
