Unveiled earlier this month at Consumer Electronics Show 2013, Acer Iconia B1 made its debut on the market a few weeks ago.

Even though Acer stated that the tablet would arrive in emerging markets first, it looks like Iconia B1 is already making its way onto more developed markets.

Eurodroid reports the slate is now available for purchase in the UK through two supermarkets: ASDA and Sainsbury's.

This sounds a bit unusual, but Android enthusiasts who wish to get their hands on a cheap but powerful tablet will have no problem with that.

The Iconia B1 is available for purchase for only £99/€115/$155 and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

In addition, the tablet packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
