Acer has just announced the immediate availability of CloudMobile Android smartphone in Taiwan. Customers can now purchase the handset for no less than 14,900 TWD outright, that’s about 510 USD or 390 EUR.

Acer CloudMobile was recently delayed in China due to some issues with Google. It appears that Acer has teamed up with Alibaba Cloud Computing to offer the CloudMobile with Aliyun OS out of the box.

Anyway, in Taiwan, the phone is shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, so there won’t be any issues with this one.

Furthermore, the CloudMobile is equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon built on Krait architecture, an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone also boasts a superb 4.3-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution.
