14 DAY TRIAL // As promised, HTC and AT&T have just kicked off the rollout of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for the One X+, the last major update that this particular smartphone will receive.
According to HTC, the One X+ will not be upgraded beyond Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, so those who wish a newer version of Google’s mobile platform will have to switch to a better device.
Mohamed Versi, executive director, product management at HTC, has recently confirmed that the update is now rolling out to all One X+ devices at AT&T.
Given the fact that this is a staged rollout, not all HTC One X+ users will receive the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update at the same time. However, those who own the smartphone may want to check for availability by going to Settings / AT&T Software Update / Check for updates.
