No word on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the moment

HTC is now working hard to bring the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system to all HTC One devices worldwide. The Taiwanese company will be even busier in early 2014, when several updates are planned for deployment in various regions.

While HTC One owners in the United States have already been treated with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, those who currently use the One X+ will probably never get the chance to see this update installed on their devices.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but for the moment, HTC USA’s Mohammed Versi has confirmed that the AT&T HTC One X+ will receive an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update sometime in January. The promised update will also contain the HTC Sense 5 UI.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling whether HTC One X+ will receive the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, not to mention a KitKat upgrade, but let’s see how Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5 works on the phone before wishing for other major updates.
