The update has already been launched on most US models of the Galaxy Note II

It appears that AT&T will be the last carrier to offer the highly-anticipated Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note II, which brings the Multi-Window feature.

While not a major upgrade, this Jelly Bean update adds an important feature that will allow users to divide the screen of the Galaxy Note II into two active “windows,” thus creating a split screen that enables smooth multitasking between applications.

Even though most US carriers have already pushed through this update for Galaxy Note II, including T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, AT&T has announced recently that its own Galaxy Note II will get it on December 27.

Obviously, the minor update will be rolled out OTA (over the air), in stages, so not all Samsung Galaxy Note II will receive it at the same time. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
