Last month, a new smartphone coming from computer maker ASUS made an appearance online, namely the ASUS PadFone X, and rumor has it that it could be announced for AT&T as soon as today.

The info comes from infamous leaker @evleaks, but no additional details on the matter have been provided, and we still don’t know when exactly the device will become available for purchase.

Previous reports on this handset suggested that ASUS would pack a Snapdragon 800 processor inside it, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

Moreover, it is expected to feature a full HD touchscreen and Android 4.4 KitKat. No specific info on the smartphone’s main camera has emerged, but it is said to be of at least 5 megapixels. Specifics on the device should become official very soon, so keep an eye on this space for updates.
