The PadFone 2 ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but hopefully, Asus will offer an Android 4.2 upgrade at some point.
PadFone 2 comprises a smartphone that packs a 4.7-inch display and 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, as well as a 10.1-inch tablet that acts like a larger screen for the phone and as an extension to its battery.
