A new ASUS tablet PC has been spotted at the FCC with support for 4G LTE network, featuring model number K009 and expected to land on shelves as a new flavor of the Nexus 7 slate.

The Android device reportedly sports a quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor, as well as HSPA connectivity, WiFi capabilities, and 32GB of internal memory, a recent article on SlashGear reads.

The tablet PC also sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 1.2MP front camera, which shows that it would be quite different from the current Nexus 7 slate, which features only a front camera.

For the time being, however, there’s no confirmation available on the fact that this would indeed be the second-generation Nexus 7 that many enthusiasts are looking for, and which was recently said to land on shelves with a price tag of only $229 (€172) attached.
