Computer maker ASUS is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a new flavor of the FonePad, one that will land on shelves with a 7-inch 1,280 x 800 pixels touchscreen display and that will sport the name of ASUS FonePad HD 7, rumor has it.

The new device is said to sport specs similar to those of the upgraded FonePad, which was launched in Taiwan not long ago, including a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, info coming from Notebook Italia unveils.

The ASUS FonePad HD 7 is also expected to land on shelves with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 1.2 MP front camera, 8GB / 32GB of internal memory, 1 GB of RAM, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.

As UnwiredView notes, the recently leaked Asus PadFone Mini and MeMOFone HD 5 haven’t been detailed as of now, but info on them should arrive soon.
