The user interface has been completely redesigned

Metago, the team behind the ASTRO popular file manager for Android devices has just unveiled a new version that is fully compatible with tablets.

While the latest version is now live in the Android Market, the developers have yet to issue an official announcement with all the changes added.

According to the folks over at Phandroid, ASTRO File Manager 3.0 for Honeycomb features advanced settings to customize user experience and one-touch pop-up menu options.

Furthermore, the user interface and icon set have been completely redesigned, and a new in-app drag and drop capability has been added, along with split screen menu view.

ASTRO File Manager 3.0 is available as a free download from Softpedia and is fully compatible with devices running Android 1.5 and higher.
