It looks like Acer plans to launch another Android tablet, but this time it targets the low-end market. The Acer Iconia B1 is a 7-inch slate that is expected to arrive on shelves in the following weeks.
Although it does not stand out when it comes to hardware, the Iconia B1 is powered by Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
On the inside, the tablet packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX 531 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.
Acer Iconia B1 sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. According to Phonearena, the slate packs 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
