The handset will run under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when released

Mobile phone users in India will soon be able to purchase a new large Android-based smartphone in the country, namely the Aqua Style from Intex, supposedly set to hit shelves with a 5.9-inch touchscreen display on the front.

The smartphone will hit shelves with a 1GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor packed inside, as well as with dual-SIM capabilities, and will sport an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The specs list of the handset also includes a 1.3MP front camera, 512MB of RAM, microSD memory card slot, a 2,500 mAh battery, and Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich loaded on top.

As AndroidOS notes, no specific info on when the new smartphone will arrive on the market has been provided as of now, nor on the price tag if might feature when released.
