It appears that Verizon plans to release another LTE tablet, even though the carrier has just introduced the XYBOARD slates a few days ago.

The next tablet that will hit shelves at Verizon Wireless is the 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 with Honeycomb and dual-core processor.

According to the folks over at DroidLife the slate entered Verizon’s systems on December 7, but it may arrive in stores by year’s end.

This is one of the few European tablets that support GSM voice communication. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with a Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen display that boasts 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.

It is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and packs 16GB/32GB/64GB onboard memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
